Skateboarding, women, food, beer, etc. . . What’s the break down of your typical day?

Basically, it has been trippy lately. I’m eating healthy, like fruit and no hamburgers. I’ve been skating way more since I quit drinking and smoking Mary Jane. I’m just trying to do what I love and that’s 100% skateboarding. Skating is my drug.  Plus chicks will always come, so I just want to do what feels right. My board will never cheat on me, it will always be by my side.

What did you do yesterday?

I chilled and iced my foot all day. Then I went to David Gonzales’s shoe release party in Long Beach, he shreds everything in his path. I saw Geoff Rowley there, he is my all time favorite skater. He skates a lot of ditches and that’s my favorite thing to skate. I had a good day.

Why do you like Sabbath so much?

Black Sabbath is like the perfect skateboard deck, Let me explain. . . Perfect concave, perfect length, perfect width and most importantly perfect pop. The drummer Bill Ward is so awesome, just listen to Bryan Herman’s song in Stay Gold. Tony Iommi is a genius on the guitar and Ozzy is the man, everything comes together so perfect just like the perfect skateboard. My finger was cut off when I was 4 years old but they sewed it back on some how, Tony Iommi had his finger cut off and that didn’t stop him from shredding the guitar. There’s so many more reasons I can talk all day about Sabbath.

Any goals for 2011?

Maybe try and get a board company sponsor and no more drugs or alcohol. I want to finally take control of my life. I had a crazy dream when 2011 started and the saddest thing in life is wasted talent. That’s what I felt was happening so I took control man, this is the real me.

What trick are you thinking about right now?

Kickflips all day, that’s my favorite trick. My foots healing and it’s my flicking foot so that’s the trick that hurts the most, I cant wait to do some kickflips. Did you see that Anthony Schultz footage of him just doing a million kickflips going through the city? That was so sick, I was hyped when I saw that. Reynolds has the best kickflip though, everyone knows that. ha ha.
